Guido invests in companies that want to transform from a linear business model to a circular business model, with the PoweredbyMeaning Group. During his career, Guido set up and managed a number of impactful companies that have been brought together in this group. From 2009 to 2012 he was director at Kirkman Company and in 2013 he decided to concentrate on the transition to a circular economy and he became CEO of Circle Economy. Circle Economy accelerates the transition to circularity in practice through action-oriented, practical and scalable solutions. During this function, Guido set up the Netherlands Circular Hotspot campaign. With this campaign, the Netherlands was positioned as a circular hotspot during the 2016 EU presidency of the Netherlands. This resulted in C-Bèta, the circular hotspot in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. After three years, Guido started a new venture with his C-Creators; they put the circular economy into practice in the Amsterdam region.
