#EVENT2/5 Stewarding Sustainability Transformations in Slovenia

In partnership with Bled Strategic Forum(BSF) – 31 August 2020

The 15th edition of BSF is questioning Challenges and Opportunities in the Post-COVID-19 World. Neighbours – Regions – Global World: Partners of Rivals? If we wish to create a resilient and sustainable global community capable of responding to the challenges of the 21st century, the reinvention of our societies is inevitable. The Covid-19 outbreak has exposed many of the vulnerabilities of the current global system, and its consequences will disrupt just about every area of our lives.

What does Slovenia have to offer? The journey from the Roadmap Towards the Circular Economy in Slovenia (2018) to the launch of “Deep Demonstration of a Circular, Regenerative and Low-Carbon Economy in Slovenia” with EIT Climate-KIC (2019/2020), is paving the way towards sustainability as one of the topics of the Slovenian Presidency of the European Council (2021).

#EVENT3/5 Leaders of Change

In partnership with Managers’ Association of Slovenia – 24 – 25 September 2020

Management Congress 2020 is a unique space for critically and pervasively approaching the key challenges and opportunities that create the image of a modern business environment. It introduces foreign professional experience, considerations and findings into the Slovenian environment. It encourages thinking about the future of Slovenian management and the economy as a whole through varied and dynamic discussions.

An insight into the transition towards circular development models in Europe! Introduction of the Circular Economy Index developed by The European House – Ambrosetti, followed by the discussion with business leaders who are steering their companies towards sustainability and leading their teams by example. Focus on personal values, styles of leadership and achieved results. 

#EVENT4/5 Networks as Enablers of Change

In partnership with Ljubljana Forum – 1 October 2020

Ljubljana Forum is an annual gathering that combines knowledge and experience of city governance and defines key areas, visions and strategies of the future development of cities. The objective is to empower this network of stakeholders to create a prosperous future of cities through researching, developing and implementing the best practices of urban development.

Partnerships count! In the Post-COVID-19 times collaboration among different international networks where change-makers collaborate, became even more impactful. The unique value of such cooperations is to bridge top-down and bottom-up approaches to governance, evaluate existing practices and tools, and encourage stakeholders to co-create solutions for the green recovery on city, regional, national and international levels.
