Two of the most well-known Slovenia companies, the Laško Union Brewery, the largest and most important brewery in Slovenia – a company with a tradition of 150 years, and Butan Plin, one of the leading suppliers of energy solutions in the country, will showcase their commitment to test and implement sustainable and circular solutions.

Laško Union, a member of Heineken Global, is working hard towards reaching the goals set in Heineken’s global straty, Brewing for a Better World by cutting emissions, saving water and energy and caring for water sources, while Butan Plin is leading the charge in providing cleaner energy for long-haul transport.

As two key players in the Slovenian economy, the Laško Union Brewery and Butan Plin are trying out new circular strategies, that will influence sectors, such as food and drinks, agriculture, packaging and other. High level representatives from both companies will present their circular economy initiatives and projects, and work on their real-life challenges with our guests in workshops.
